Restart - Raw emotions & extraterrestrial sounds by Tofa Jaxx
We all sometimes long to go back in time, be it in daily life, after the exhausting time of the pandemic or in love. The painful longing to relive a perfect memory, hardly anyone expresses it better than Tofa Jaxx in this new song “Restart”.
In this groovy ballad, Tofa's sensual voice leads to the depths of his emotions in a dreamlike manner. The Tanzanian newcomer mixes soul, bongo flava, afro-fusion and R&B on a level that almost takes your breath away. Consolation can be found in the African pulse and the warm voice of Tofa Jaxx.
“Restart” song creation began in November 2020, in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. Creating “Restart” instilled with raw emotions and extraterrestrial sounds was a healing process for Tofa Jaxx that helped him move past this longing phase.
Tofa Jaxx’s single “Restart” will have its official release on December 1st, 2021.
World Aids Day Campaign
In light of “World Aids Day'' which will be on the same day as “Restart” release. Tofa has partnered with the Spanish Embassy Dar es Salaam to sell 100 limited physical cd copies of Tofa’s music released in 2021 and donate all proceeds from the cd sale to a HIV/AIDs institution in Dar Es Salaam.
In addition to this cd sale, there will also be a special visual Tofa made for his fans that highlights interesting facts about HIV/AIDs and people living with HIV/AIDs and an acoustic live performance of “Restart” in support of this year’s World Aids Day theme “End inequalities.
